I hope to fish on this 12-angler fishing boat in Istanbul in October.
I will be in Turkiye (new name) for five weeks starting September 1st.
Plan is to see relatives, visit my old stomping grounds, places that I fished and do some (hopefully a lot) fishing.
I will be after bonito, horse mackerel and especially blue fish.
Report to follow.

Here is the ad for the sport fishing outfit. If they are as good as they say, I may do more than one day.
At the current exchange rate, in October the cost is $100.00 per day.

I bet the fishing is going to be amazing... So much variety of conditions must lead to some amazing diversity in the catches!

Thanks, but there is a problem! For recreational anglers there are no rules. Thus, no poachers. Since there is no “F&W” department in Turkiye. Commercial fishery is regulated, but not recreational fishery. Less and less fish being caught, and smaller fish are kept.
Bonito is considered delicacy (they know how to prepare it), as well as imported mackerel.
I am really looking to visit some of the tackle shops which put Bass Pro Shops to shame. Also, to talk to other anglers on the boat (I wish I could post the video) about a common passion.
I have been watching a lot of YouTube about techniques they use, to try at the Mole. Also, I will be showing our way of chasing after bonito to them.

them.
Why couldn't you post the video? Or do you mean post the video here as opposed to linking to YouTube?

The outfit has sent me an email with attached pictures of the boat (one posted above) and a short video of the tour of the boat.
I was able to post one picture but can't figure out how to post the video. I tried "attached files". A small icon posted and no video.
I am sure there is a way, but I am too illiterate when it comes to computers.

Will do my best.

Good to see you back.
Turk Ece responded to my comment in one of his YouTube videos and is going to send me "news".
Thanks for the contact. Not sure if he is in Istanbul.

Wow, I’m interested to see how you do and what are the target species. I will have to Google fishing in Istanbul. Good luck Hashem. I am just trying to get to Catalina again 1 day or Avila.
