I havent been there for a couple weeks, but there is always mackerel, early morning before sunrise and late afternoon right at sunset. I doubt there are any bonito there right now, and if there are any, they might be tough to catch, but i could be wrong. Theres probably a few snaggers in the surf looking for corbina, perch, and others. Spider crabbing was kinda hot a couple weeks ago, saw some monsters being pulled up. There should be a lot of fin bait in the water though if thats what you are looking for.

^ Also, although I haven't been down there in a while, I've found that even on an outgoing-slack low tide, the mackerel will hit a small (1oz) jig on light line, with the south side close to the Ruby's producing the most fish for me.
