Too bad that we missed each other. Since retirement, I go to piers on weekdays.
Next time I will let you know to see if we can meet.

I did not see anybody catching anything else than mackerel.

There were a few anglers that were using heavy rods, but no takers while I was there.

I see the no secure icon now. With exception of the site not being available several times lately, I never had issues with it.

I have issues posting here with pictures. The line spacing is another issue verses the other site.
That is why I post there first.

Sites that don't use SSL are, inherently, less secure and can be manipulated by 3rd parties to inject code
into the data of site users without the knowledge of the site owner. This is why there is such a strong push
in current browsers to just disable access of standard HTTP that doesn't follow HTTPS guidelines and get
HTTPS security certs.

With how easy it is to implement HTTPS and get a free security cert using a service like letsencrypt, there
is just no reason to use sites that don't support HTTPS at all any more.
