S.F. Bay Crab Identification

I think it is a kelp crab but unsure. Thanks for any help. Came up on my line at Marina Bay, Richmond a few weeks back.

I'm no expert, but it looks like a european green crab. Kelp crabs are more slender looking I believe. Alarming if it is a green crab.

So green crab based on the number of spines to the side of the eye stalks.

As a total tangent, kelp crabs freak me out because in my mind they look like enormous blood sucking ticks...
