Oceanside pier reopens Friday!!!!

Fox 5 San Diego: The Oceanside Pier is set to reopen next Friday after a fire erupted at the end of the pier last week, city officials said.
The City of Oceanside announced on Friday it aims to have roughly 80% of the pier open, starting from the pier’s base to beyond the restrooms and the fish washing station at the last “offset.”
Good news, next Friday should be good to go!!!!

Given that the article was posted on May 3, I think it meant Friday May 10th...
I think opening it on May 3 would have indicated a superhuman level of effort on the repairs...

My friend was walking the pier today, Friday and reports that people are pulling in large amount of Croakers, fish on!!!
