Lobster Fishing

Was looking for a thread on gear and technique for lobster fishing... Since all I have is the crab-net that I used for rock and Dungeness crab up in the SF Bay area I was thinking of getting a net for lobster to use down here...

Anyway, I didn't see a thread handy so I thought I'd start one here. If you could post pics/links to the equipment you recommend I would appreciate it very much!

Hoop net: promar ambush
Bait cage: DIY

Rope: check harbor freight 75-100ft length should be good
Bait: whole mackerel (take a knife and poke the flesh with holes) - fresh caught is best
