Interesting but I will hold judgment. I am always a little leery of computer models — of anything.

It certainly fits the basic theory of natural selection; schooling behavior and large sizes at maturity are selected against by both commercial and recreational fisheries.

Interesting, but this is one study model. Tons of speculation in the article, zero evidence of cause and effect. These types of studies are used to influence opinions, but should not be used to influence policy. Reminds me of the poor studies used to try to change striper policy a few years ago. Just my observation.
