The Stripers has not been around the area for about couple of weeks now, so decided to check out the surf to see what's out there. Throw out a plastic grub and just work the trough. Did not get disappointed. Had a great time.

I miss northern California fishing. Best I've done since moving back down to so.Cal has been some anemic 4-5" BSP, sardines, and some mackerel.

Plenty of skunks targeting croaker, corbina, and halibut.

Mostly I miss all of the options for rockfish up there I think.
