Crystal Pier to soon re-open.

The previous owner ogf the pier's bait shop said for some time that the owner's of the motel/pier wanted to get rid of anglers. She attributed that attitude to them forcing her out of her shop. Perhaps she was right and this was simply a ploy on the part of those people to keep people off the pier?

I believe this too. I checked out the pier with binos and only saw 1 or 2 of the 2x4 angle supports disconnected.There is a statewide conspiracy to get rid of fishing piers. The Flagler beach pier in Florida was destroyed last year too. They are talking about a new, better pier being done in 2025, vs ocean beach pier that MAYBE will start construction in 2025.

The pier has now been reopened by the city.
