Catalina 2023/2024

I was in Catalina for New Year’s Eve celebration.
While waiting to get on the boat on January 2nd, I saw the workmen install this new information display.

It has a mistake on it, but the crew had left, before I could tell them that.

See if you can tell what it is!

Caught fish, but no bonito. The town was decorated very pretty.

The "you are here" sign is wrong. The Cabrillo Mole where the sign was posted is on the opposite side of Avalon Bay by the left corner of Lovers Cove SMCA.

I wonder if there is a similar sign over by the Casino with a "You are here" arrow pointing to the mole?

You are correct, but it was too easy for people who have been there.

Can't say for sure, but I doubt it.

The good thing is that the boaters are not allowed to fish in the blue area. Only with hook and line for finfish from the Mole.
