Another quick trip to Avalon was made on the past Sunday. The mole has been fished very heavily by local bonito anglers lately. I have been looking for days of week to avoid the traffic. The wish was granted as I found the mole to myself and Hashem.
It was another mackerel fair. After our ferry landed at 7am, some mackerels of a good size were biting. I caught some short calico on metal jig then it quiet down. Hashem then found a sweet hole of endless Spanish mackerels. Some sardines were also mixed. I tried to see if whitefish was around on cut squids. They were there where they always are albeit small in size. We entertained some tourists and kids with questions. I parted Hashem who stayed for night fishing by taking the last ferry back home.
Hashem found a tree fish and sculpin on his sabiki rig:
And the below are some of my catches: whitefish, chub mackerel, Spanish mackerels, sardines, and a calico.
Thanks for reading. Tight lines!
