Aptos Pier Gone

Looks like the cement ship may be getting destroyed too from the pictures I've seen... or could just be super rough seas.
Half the pier is missing though.

The sad thing is that the state could have done things over the year to help stabalize and preserve the ship but it's probably too late now.

If they repair the pier at least there will be a nice stone reef at the end of it... If not, then at least kayakers or rafters will know where an accessible reef is located...
