water clarity info needed for San Diego

Hi everyone, I want to head down to san diego today, Sunday, for some fishing, can somebody tell me if water clarity is clear around mission bay, shelter island? I know Oceanside water has been very murky and brown, thank you.

That said, when I fished Mission Bay in my younger days I'd fish near the top of the rising tide. I'd fish the east side of Fiesta Island. A couple of times I got my timing wrong & lost more than one boot in the mud.
With the tide moving through all that mud, I don't think I ever fished in what I'd call clear water. Still, the bass and halibut would grab most scented baits. I enjoyed using a gulp minnow on a Carolina rig.
