Fished the pier this morning. Caught Topsmelt, Jack and Chub mackerel, Sculpin and Sand bass. Fish bite was steady in the early morning (6 - 7), slowed down after that hour. Mackerel bite stayed consistent but not wide open.
Thanks for the report . i fished today 8 to about 1030 one close to legal sand bass released on a small live smelt fished close to the boat dock . seemed pretty slow saw only a few macs caught beautiful morning though.

Definitely been nice mornings the last two weeks. Glad to hear you caught a sand bass on live smelt. I fish that general area with live smelt. No takers as yet. Thanks for the info.
