You may note minor errors on both the fish and pier articles. In part this was due to difficulties I was having with WordPress, in part it was due to my mistakes. Hopefully, now that we've switched from the temporary address being used to a more stable address, these mistakes can be corrected. The goal is simply to provide useful information that can better educate those in the "Pier Rat Nation." As always, I welcome your ideas and constructive criticism.

I know that the information in the pier articles is too much for some of you but... oh well. I'm not trying to be flippant but I'm a dedicated pier rat and the more information the better. However, I still am not done. I hope to drive up next week and take some fresh pictures of the Miller Pier in Toimales Bay and for several others piers (especially in the Bay Area) need more revision and new or additional pictures, i.e., the Seacliff Sate Beach Pier. But it's a big state, there's a lot of piers, and age and economics is catching up with me. The goal is to have accurate and up-to-date informatio but visiting all the piers on an annual or even near annual basis is simply impossible. That's where you all come in.If you visit a local pier and see something that conflicts with what I have written, or that should be added to what I have written, please send me a note at : kenjones@pierfishing.com

By the way, thanks to Nacho who caught an error I had made on the Capitola Wharf — which is now corrected.
