Updated article on the Coronado Ferry Landing Pier

Man, I haven’t gone to this pier in a while. I’m never in the area now and it gets too crowded during the grunion runs n lobster season. One time there was a large Leopard Shark left under a bench. Then some older guy comes up and says he caught it earlier in the day. He’d leave and keep coming back, telling everybody he caught it. Pretty weird.
I haven't fished it for a couple of years but I've had pretty good success there. My list of fish is led by mackerel and kelp bass (although I've caught all three species of bass there). Most trips seem to have at least one round stingray in the mix and one visit produced a diamond stingray; they're not rare but are fairly uncommon.
