Fished shelter island from about 4pm to 8pm. One modest mac, and two smelt on a sabiki tipped with mackerel. Saw mostly misc. smelt and macs taken, one big hookup that was lost. People next to me brought up a smallish Octopus. Overall was kind of slow, cold, and overcast.
