The red tide comes and goes on a daily basis so you may have to call around for up to date info.
Hit the wharf today for a bit. The anchovies are still in but are more pinhead sized. The larger ones are around but it takes a bit of work to jig them up. White croakers and small walleye/silver surfperch are also around if you're looking for live bait.
Slow action today for game fish, though I did hear that the linesides were biting just a day earlier. Saw one Pacific mackerel pulled up, so I imagine there's a chance for mack runs around graylight. September has always been the best for mackerel for me.
