Back in '70s you could catch a Sportfishing boat right from the San Simeon Pier. These pictures were taken in '78 on the boat Pathfinder. Surprisingly, the lingcod, although fairly small, won me the jackpot. Today you have to head south to Morro Bay or north to Monterey to catch a boat.
