Was hoping to get over there but have been dealing with some health issues lately and been stuck in Fresno. But I imagine the start and stop storms haven't helped anything.

Thanks Ken,

Your March thread is what had me thinking about, and the hopes of some more Northerly species. We may put it off until after the school year ends.
Is there some place in the Morro Bay area that sells pile worms?

School is out, so we may again be thinking of heading up the coast a bit. I am bumping this thread to see if there are any reports from San Luis Obispo County.

I went out to Avila on the 7th now that half the pier is open and caught 8 mackeral and 40+ sardines in about an hour of fishing. Went back a couple days later and caught some more sardines, a guy out there had hooked a halibut and angel shark before I got there. I also caught some large smelt at Pismo around the same time. Fished a sabiki off the north T pier in morro bay for one small perch on the 10th. Fished off the harford pier (PSL) on the 11th and didn't catch anything.

A buddy of mine went out to Avila and caught some large mackeral and more sardines last Friday the 14th.
