Fished the pier this morning with my son. Cool and overcast this morning then breeze picked up around 11am. Stayed just outside the surf for a steady mixed bite of yellowfin, spotfin and barred perch . All fish caught on mussels. FYI , construction crews rebuilding around the pier area. It's fully closed over a hundred yards on each side of the pier. They are pumping water from outside the pier and using it to wash the sand that they are moving. Also noticed more fisherman than normal. Maybe because of Oceanside being closed?
