I learned alot from the "old board" reel repair section, called allen acoupla times, eventually turned into the local "Mr know-it-all" conserning penn reels! I agree, bring the OLD threads back...mutt.

its helpful. i used to be soo into this and very meticulous. nowadays i just like to build and tinker around with my electric guitars. haha
