I want to share with you guys a very good rig to catch live smelt, especially the small kinds, it is Hayabusa Sabiki, S002AE, and owner chum bucket 5539-037. just fill the little bucket with hot dog bun, or bread slice, this will catch you a bunch of needed baits in no time!!!
*Fishing technique* drop rig to approximately 4 feet deep, let the fish peck at the basket for about 5 seconds, then periodically drop your rod tip to lower the Sabiki to catch them
