I got to the pier at 9:30 after the high tide at 8am and fished until about 1pm. Fished one light setup with shrimp around the pilings, another rod with sliding sinker and squid on a circle hook cast far out. I got no hits on the shrimp though something did bite off part of it leaving teeth marks. At around 10:30 I saw a bite on the squid rod, picked it up and felt the weight of a fish on, ended up pulling in a leopard shark about 2 and a half feet. Great fight on the medium weight rod I had. That was the only fish of the day. I really appreciated the lack of wind and mild temperatures.
