P**** fish invade the beach

I've never seen this creature on the beach before (https://www.sfgate.com/local/article/fat-innkeeper-worm-penis-fish-drakes-beach-14902264.php) . Use it as bait? Does its size matter.....

Hah, I dug up one of these while going for horsenecks once... Was kind of gross to hold, and they start squirting water when held @_@

Fat inkeeper worm. Heard that they make decent croaker and surfperch bait. Tho looking at it, I don't think I'd have the balls (ha) to put one on a hook.

Excellent bait for croakers, especially spotfin croaker.

Great bait for corbina and spotfin croakers. Although everything seems to eat them. Skin is extremely tough and the bait will stay on the hook forever. Can be cut into strips or fished whole. When using whole put the hook in the very end of the worm. It will stay alive this way. One end has a ring of hair like bristles. This is usually the end I put the hook through.

Lol I know I have a sick sense of humor but I’ve been watching Koreans clean them for sashimi on YouTube. I’m just mesmerized at when they cut the ends and all the red stuff explodes out. Not sure if it’s blood or what.
