Ocean Beach Pier Closes Again to Complete Work on Pump Station

The Ocean Beach Pier will be closed again Tuesday to complete work on a pump station, city officials said.
“The pump station repairs took longer than initially expected,” the city of San Diego tweeted Tuesday morning. “Stay tuned for additional updates on reopening.”

The bathrooms were closed on Sunday as well as the restaurant. I talked to Shirley at the bait shop who said they were going to come back and then hopefully reopen the pier by this weekend — with even the possibilty of the restaurant opening.
