The bite isn’t in full swing yet. I fished after work from approximately 4-8. The fish came right about 6:09pm. Halibut Jośe had just left at 5:43. I told him, “I’ll stay another 15 minutes.”
Bait was difficult to get with the castnet as it was low tide and 14mph winds. But with the bread chum Jośe brought, we got 4 smelt. I caught 1 and Jośe gave me 1. I used trap rigs with a 2oz and 4oz torpedo weight,
on 3-way swivels, and a little more than 15 minutes, down went both my rods. 2 baits, 2 fish and I was out of bait, story over for the day.
