Beautiful day to fish. Caught white croaker, sandbass, queenfish, mackerel and smelt. Queenfish bite was steady fishing at midpoint of pier. Mackerel were sporadic. Fish caught on squid, shrimp, anchovy and smelt.
FYI. Sailboat race this weekend around pier. Lot of boats were in the water today around 11:00 a.m. Challenging to fish if you are at the end and casting away from pier. Boats pretty close to pier. Half of parking lot full of vendors.
