Looking to give away some fishing gear to PFIC members

#1
Hi all, I'm sadly moving from California for at least the next year and some of my existing tackle won't be applicable anymore. I was a very novice fisherman before discovering PFIC (and still am in many ways) but PFIC let me discover a whole new world and really up my game. I wanted to give PFIC "first dibs" for those who are contributing members (sorry lurkers!). Even though my guess is you all already have the gear!

I have a few things that I'm looking to part with to make space for my move, which include:
  • large landing net (not a crab net. It's about 3')
  • surf spikes, homemade with PVC, hose clamps, and hardware posts. they are sturdy, dig into the sand easily, and do not bend.
  • hardware cloth for dungeness crab snare making (caught dozens with this)
  • a cast net that needs a much longer rope. weights are a bit rusty.
  • homemade small bait bucket (don't have a picture but it fits within a 5 gallon and has holes at the top and on the sides up to a point. buoyant, with long paracord rope and perfect for piers to keep bait lively).
I'm located in Berkeley but happy to meet up at most any East Bay pier unless you're making me walk to Point Pinole lol. Let me know.

Good luck wherever your future fishing trips take you. Thank you for offering your gear. Very generous.
