That used to be the place for bonito. However, that was when the power plant was running and the hot water "bubble" in the harbor was warming up the water. It was THE PLACE to catch bonito during the colder water winter months. Today, according to what I have been told, the hot water is only turned on occasionally. I wish I had the time to interview the people at the power plant to get a better idea of what really is taking place. The warm water that was down there saw an amazing number of different species attracted to the harbor.
