The weather conditions today may have deterred most fisherman and fish. But, Jacksmelt were a steady bite all morning. Fished from 5 - 10:30 this morning. Overcast, cloudy and intermittent showers all morning. Only myself and two other fisherman. Jacksmelt bite began around 8:15 lasted thru 10:15. Caught and released several. Caught a few Topsmelt and used them for live bait. No takers. Caught one Pompano. All fish caught on either Sabiki or hi/lo rig baited with anchovy, shrimp, squid, and mackerel.
