On a serious note, I was chatting with a fellow fisherman and he mentioned that the Fish and Wildlife is thinking about banning "commercial netting" inside the bay. He mentioned another whale was found dead recently covered in net mesh. Any truth to what he said because I can't seem to find any information on this matter.
I found info of a recent dead whale, but no mention of the whale being covered in net mesh.
Uh oh Bill, you’re going to have some disgruntled people that “read and run” down at J&P early for an unhappy ending. Usually, J&P does open on the first day of April (granted anchovies/sardines are available to catch).
