Is the bait & tackle shop at Shelter Island still open?

I went to Shelter Island pier today and the bait shop was closed and there were no hours of operation posted (except for the restaurant, which doesn't necessarily keep the same hours).

Looks like Ken's monthly reports have relied on other sources for that pier since about October.

Anyone know the status? Is it ever open? (The bait & tackle side, not the Fathom restaurant side).

I called their number and had the same lack of response that caused me to switch my source for reports. BUT, the number still rings and there is a recording. I usually use Angler's Choice now for reports, They are just up the street on Roseceans (1910 Rosecrans), are knowledgeable, and usually have live bait.

Don’t know. They were still open on April 14. I went there after attending Day At The Docks.
