and inbetween graduations and birthday celebrations I hope to do some fishing. Most likely spots: Tuesday morning for a few hours at the Shelter Island Pier; Wednesday morning at the Imperial Beach Pier for a few hours; Thursday morning for a few hours at the Ocean Beach Pier; Friday morning fro a few hours at the Oceanside Pier. I'll be wearing a variety of t-shirts along with my Malibu Pier hat and pushing my pier carts. If you see me say hello.

Got up too late to go fishing this morning but did drive down to the Shelter Island Pier to check out the action. A low tide and little water movement but I did see a few fish. Saw several sand bass, includind a 16-inch fish, two nice sargo, and all the small smelt anyone could want. A few of the regulars were using live smelt for halibut but no luck for the day. One angler did say he got a 30-inch fish last week. Talked to quite a few anglers, told them about PFIC and hopefully we will get a few new members (new input and new ideas). Will fish tomorrow morning.
