Going to Santa Cruz Wharf tonight

Anything exciting happening? It doesnt really matter anyway. We just need to get our lines wet before the daily San Jose stresses drive us crazy. santa Cruz is the closest piece of mind

Fished the wharf the other night for an hour and a half. Got some perch and small rockfish but nothing else. Lots of small anchovies in the water. Had dinner at Stagnaro’s (Monday night special chiopinno for $12.50) and it was great but then had to head to the Hotel Paradox where we are staying for the conference. The conference ends tomorrow and I will head down to Monterey to hit a few piers. Probably Wharf No. 2 tomorrow night for a few hours and then the Coast Guard Pier Friday morning. Not sure if I will hit Stillwater Cove.
