Found it weird how no one was talking about crabs. Over the wknd I found myself wandering the west end of the city by the bay in the wee hours of the night, contemplating if it is worth a try slinging snares. A lot of the sand was flattened out due to the recent storms I guess and the tell tale signs of crabs weren’t there. I gave it a go with a snare and a six oz sinker. I managed two legals, no more no less for four hours, no even a short on my end. Moved around a bit looking for water without side wash. I shouldn’t complain...fresh crab for two meals.
