fixed my boat trailer

had to put my boat in the water to fix my trailer, after it was done of course i took the boat out. two days in a row, i was trolling for salmon with metal spinners like Mepps and Benicia tackle shop-made spinners. No fish but i marked many big fish on the fish finder at 30ft. On the second day I used a planar to get my troll down to 20 feet right through those schools but no fish. Current is strong. This was in Benicia. Over the years (and decades) we get fish at this time of the year, but not recently. October seems to be the hot month nowadays.

Coho killers in army truck and cop car. The hooks need to be replaced with better ones though.

no fish again yesterday. for kicks, i tried also mooching during low tide since i could predict the drift. got a few nibbles that I assume are either smelt or stripers. saw 3 osprey out fishing.
