Fishing Goleta Tomorrow for the First Time. When Does it Open?

My girlfriend and I will be fishing Goleta for the first time on Saturday.

We are a bit confused as to when it opens. She seems to think it it part of a public park which does not open until 8AM. Is this accurate?

Any info or tips would be appreciated!

As far as I know the pier is still open 24 hours a day. The park itself closes sunset to 8 am but the parking lot near the foot of the pier should remain open for parking.

The pier is open 24 hours. As you enter the park, turn left to the eastern parking lots. (The western half of the park is closed overnight.) Park anywhere near the restaurant as it’s at the base of the pier. They have been closing the furthest, eastern parking lot because of illegal camping.
