I fished the pier last night from 5-7 p.m. Results: 8 brown rockfish, 3 cabezon, 3 striped seaperch, 2 walleye surfperch and 1 kelp greenling. One couple was crabbing and had several nice-sized rock crabs. Three anglers were trying for sharays and caught and released one undersized leopard shark. As I left two more sharkers were setting up their rigs in hopes of sharks or bat rays. A beautiful evening with limited wind. Quite a contrast to Fresno.
