Easy rod holder idea

Saw this on a google search, kinda looks like a scotty rod holder bolted to a basic woodworking clamp.

Actually, that's a great idea. I wonder if those "squeeze" trigger clamps would work.

I personally rarely put my rod down unless it's really slow, and when I do, I get away with pieces of rope.
