Purchased recently this reel from Bass Pro Shops. Sale price online $119.00. Applied $50.00 in gift cards to reduce the final cost.
Loaded the reel with 20lb mono. Broke in the reel at Seal Beach. Worked like a charm. Quiet and smooth. Reeled up a large Thornback without any problem. Did not have to tighten down the drag.
I would buy another one. Just need some reasonable justification. 🙂
