It's been a while since fishing this Pier. Fished late at night to avoid the heat and crowds.
I was using a drop shot rig with a 3 inch curly tail minnow. Caught 3 short Spotted Bay bass ranging between 8 inches and 12 inch fish. Fun on light tackle.
Chatted with a few other anglers and most were catching various sting rays. Also saw one angler catch a Mackerel.
Saw a huge school of Mullet swimming near the shore. Very big mullet too. Overall plenty of bait fish swimming around and small Rays. Very clean Pier and some beautiful scenery of downtown San Diego.
