I have been in touch with Boyd's widow who is planning a service for him at the pier. It is tentatively set for January 26 and we are wondering if there are any of his Goleta friends who might want to say a few words at the service — or have ideas for the service. We are trying to see if we could have his name put on a bench on the pier but I'm having a little trouble finding the right people to give approval. Anyone know people that work for the S.B. County Parks Dept. that could be contacted? Suggestions?
