I had to help out with a beach party at Bolsa, so I decided to do some fishing whenever I got the chance. I fished the incoming tide from 6-11 am and only brought in a foul hooked round ray. There were no sand crabs then. From 3–5 I fished the outgoing tide. The sand crabs showed up, with many softshells and with eggs, but the average size was small. I went 3:4 on the corbina, caught a yfc, and a baby leopard shark. One of my friends who also fished caught 6 corbina and another baby leo. The average size wasn’t very large, but fun to catch on light tackle.
