Fished balboa pier from 10 to 3 with 2 Sabiki rigs on two rods, ending the day with 19 mackerel. Didn’t see to much being caught except one guy who caught a jack smelt and another who said he managed to catch a spider crab on his bait rig. The mackerel note is on and off, mostly bait fishing on the bottom. Decent sized though, with some particularly bigger ones.
