Yesterday I didn't do so well, but my fishing partner, Lou, got a 25 inch keeper halibut on a 5 inch smelt. I netted it for him, cleaned it and took it home with me. He doesn't like to eat fish, but he likes to catch them. Good deal for me. No other keepers caught the rest of the day. Our biggest problem was that the bait was extremely hard to find and catch, but we worked and worked and managed to have a few left at the end of our day. Don't ever think fishing is easy.
