I have this crazy OCD reaction when I see floating debris near the pier. I grab a three ounce torpedo sinker with treble hook and try to catch the object. Wife gets a kick out of it when I "catch" the floater on the first cast! My motto "Always leave the place cleaner when you leave, then how you found it upon arrival". Happy Earth Day fellow fisherpersons!😎

I don't use the same gear but do always try to snag garbage that comes floating by (mainly plastic bags).
