Hi all local pier rat down in ib, fish a lot but recently working and traveling so will be Mia until October. Fish report is wide open mackerel on 4/19 , 4/20 slow start but steady pickings.

There was also a 4 ft leopard caught today and released. Overall decent day but slower than yesterday

Just noticed the gaff hook injury. I'm guessing fish kept. Thanks.

Fish was released, very small wound as it wasn’t a target species and I have no net. Tried to give it the smallest wound possible, it swam off fine. 5 planks long I will try to measure it today. That gaff shot is the only one near its tail
