The "Yellowtail Pier" but the regulars put in many long hours to catch the few yellowtail they catch. Not as bad as sturgeon fishing but they are few and far between on the pier even though it's the best pier for yellowtail.

Nice fishing there.

Parking is a problem close to the pier, other than that it is a very nice place to fish.

It also closes at dusk unless you are staying at the pier's cottages (that sit over the inshore section of the pier).

Given the lack of people at night, it can be an excellent lobster pier. I have tried once by invite of a guest, but it was too rough.
