Ran into Sparky Saldana and Hank Levy while in Catalina—Hank and Sparky run the outfit that tells the world all about the doings of the USS Catalina—and found both trying their fishing luck off the pier (Green Pleasure Pier). Hank latched onto a 150 Lb. black sea bass and laid it down next to a string of 10 or 12 bite-size perch Sparky had landed. He stood there with a broad grin on his face, waiting for a comment from his associate. Saldana studied the big bass and then said to Hank, "Just caught the one, eh?" ...It takes all kinds.
